Bookings Instructions – Updated
If you have the updated version of Microsoft Bookings, please use the following instructions:
- Log into Office.com with your faculty email
- Click on the 9 dots in the top left-hand corner and select the bookings application
- Click on the drop-down menu on the left panel and select “New Bookings Calendar”
- Select create from scratch or use a previously made calendar
- Name the calendar (eg: Professor Doe’s Office Hours) and select a business type (eg: education)
- Edit the appointment and duration (eg: Office hours appointment for 30 minutes)
- MAKE SURE TO SELECT “MAKE THIS AN ONLINE APPOINTMENT”
- Fill in available times and days
- Select Anyone can book
- Copy the link and share with your students on Brightspace
- Under Settings (left hand-side panel), click on “Services”
- Click on “Add New Service”
- Under “Basic Details”
- Name the service (eg: office hours)
- Select “Add Online Meeting”
- Set duration of the meeting
- Under “Assign Staff”
- Select your name from the drop down menu
- Under “Customized Fields”
- Set “customer email” as a required field.
- Under “Basic Details”
- Save changes
